Zereve Adams

If childhood had a genre, Zereve’s would be classified as “chaotic family saga with bonus laughter.” Growing up in a large, boisterous household, she learned early that the best way to be heard over the noise was to write stories so vivid nobody could ignore them. She picked up a pencil at six years old and, frankly, never put it back down.
While other kids were learning to color inside the lines, Zereve was busy inventing portals in the margins and turning homework into epic side quests. She has always preferred worlds with dragons, gears, futuristic contraptions, secret doors, and dramatic plot twists—and since no one was handing her a ticket to a flying ship or enchanted forest, she started building them herself on the page.
Today, Zereve lives a perfectly respectable life on the outside and a wildly fantastical one on the inside. Her passport may insist she’s still in the real world, but her imagination spends most of its time befriending grumpy time travelers, and making questionable deals with talking cats. Speaking of cats, she shares her home with Franky, an adorable tabby who carries himself with the full authority of a tiny monarch. Zereve likes to say she pays rent; Franky rules the kingdom.
When she’s not writing, Zereve is daydreaming about her next adventure, eavesdropping on her characters’ arguments, or negotiating with Franky for keyboard space. Through her stories, she gets to live the grand, magical, and slightly ridiculous adventures she’s always dreamed of—and invite readers along for the ride.
